Exciting Online Event Raises $105,000 in New Tuition Assistance Funds for Fall Term
(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Catholic Education Foundation of the Archdiocese of Louisville (the “Foundation”) today announced that its inaugural online bourbon raffle event generated $105,000 in tuition assistance funding for Catholic school students in need when they return to school in the fall.
Today’s exciting livestreamed drawing produced five winners who will claim their respective share of the 17-bottle rare bourbon raffle prize.
Foundation President Richard A. Lechleiter exclaimed, “Wow, what a fantastic outcome for our Catholic school families who are now reaching out to us for help this fall! This event alone will create a Catholic education experience for 50 families who can’t afford it – we can’t wait to do it bigger and better next year!”
“This event was so much fun! And we couldn’t have pulled it off without the incredible generosity of the Matt and Sherry Ott Family and our friends at Republic National Distributing Company, Brown-Forman Corporation and Chatham Imports. What a debt of gratitude we owe to each of you.”
“And finally, to everyone who participated in the raffle event, may God bless all of you! Because of you, we can say with confidence to every Catholic school family in need, “The Answer is Yes!”
