This fund was established to honor Fr. Shibu Puthenpurackal, a priest of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate in India. While attending Bellarmine University in pursuit of his master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Fr. Shibu served as an Associate Pastor at both St. Margaret Mary and St. Gabriel parishes. He has been described by parishioners as humble and modest. Earnings from the fund will be used to provide tuition assistance to families who cannot afford to send their children to a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Louisville.
